At Hooghiemstra & Partners, Wimmy works on a wide range of issues. From EU-regulations such as the AI Act, the implementation of the NIS2 Directive and the CER Directive to legal implications of technology such as the use of algorithms and the deployment of Multi Party Computation (MPC). Wimmy likes to design practical decision models to guide you making decisions on the processing of personal data. In collaborative partnerships, she maps out which partner bears which responsibilities. She collaborated on the law evaluation of the Dutch implementation of the GDPR Act. Wimmy teaches health law for practitioners at the Erasmus Medical Centre.
