Riëlle works at Hooghiemstra & Partners on projects dealing with the alignment of rules between the different parts of the Kingdom. She also deals with legal questions of hybrid healthcare and digital government. Furthermore, she deals with European regulations, such as the Digital Governance Act. Riëlle was a lawyer at one of the largest law firms in the Caribbean. There, she practised corporate, labour and financial law. She was also involved in Stichting Beroepsopleiding Advocatuur as a board member.
She studied law at the University of Curaçao, where she completed the Master's degree in Private Law. During her studies, Riëlle participated in the university's Honors Program for talented students. During her studies, she also worked in Curaçao as a lawyer at the Ministry of Social Development, Labour and Welfare. In addition, she was active as a reporter and presenter. Currently, Riëlle is pursuing the specialised Master's in Data Protection and Privacy Law at the Open University.
